Stock Rocker Valve Train Kit

Description

This is a kit that we designed here at Performance Machine and Design for the sport stock Kohler Command pulling class where the rules require stock length valves and stock rocker arms. With high spring pressure and high rpm the oem rocker bosses will either break off or the small 6mm bolt will pull out of the head. This kit will eliminate the oem bosses with a billet CNC machined plate that will bolt in with the head bolts. The rocker will then pivot on a custom machined high quality material rocker boss that we make and slide over a 3/8 hardened steel screw in stud. The kit will allow you to fully adjust the valve lash with ploy lock nuts.

Kit comes as pictured in the main product image: plates, guide plates, stud and poly lock, rocker pivots and the correct length pushrods for stock length valves. Please note the cylinder heads shown in this listing are an example of the kit in use and are not included.

We have built and ran engines with this kit using the OEM rocker arms that had over 350lbs of open spring pressure and would run up over 10k rpm.

Builder note: This is not a bolt in kit. The builder will be required to machine the oem rocker pedestals off. We can offer that service if you need. Also this kit will not clear the oem black plastic valve covers or our billet oem replacement covers. A 5/8 cover spacer or a set of tall billet covers will be needed.
