Description
Kohler Command steel billet small bolt pattern roller cam. This cam is a .301 lift 258 duration at .050 lift and ground on a 105 lobe separation. This cam is what I would call a semi-aggressive lobe profile. It is a symmetrical profile meaning the open and close ramps are the same. Cam has a mild 20.6 degree pressure angle, a max open velocity of .00649 and a 1.075 base circle. Recommend spring pressure on this cam is 200-225lbs of seat pressure and 300-325lbs over the nose. Our cam grind number for this cam is #801.
Cam has a peak HP range of 5000-8000 RPM range and will turn well over 10000 RPM depending on head and port design. This cam was designed specifically for the new FXT lawn mower racing class. This cam is easy on valve train and super dependable. The 105 lobe separation gives it a nice power curve giveing the racer power and tq coming out of the corner but having enough duration to rev extremely high and fast in the staightaways.
