Description
This is a new CNC machined billet camshaft core with a new steel adjustable gear. The cam has been precision ground with more lift and duration. The 508 grind is good open RPM grind for FXT racing engines, open rpm golf cart engines and mild open rpm pull tractor engines. . The 508 cam has .235 lift at the cam, 258 degrees of duration @.050 lift and is ground on a 105 lobe separation. We degree the cam straight up at a 105 intake center line when we install the gear.

Grind service, Includes grinding camshaft, hard face overlay lobes, regrind lobes, lobe polish, camshaft ends ground to size, debur and put in an engine and precision degreed in with computer equipment. $300
BUILDER NOTES: It is the engine builder’s responsibility to properly install the camshaft. This includes clearance if needed, checking spring pressure, checking coil bind, using the correct oil, checking camshaft end play and all other engine building procedures. The 508 and 509 camshafts will require valve pockets in the pistons, we recommend a min of .075 of valve to piston clearance.
