Performance Machine & Design – Shop Policies
By placing an order with Performance Machine & Design, the customer agrees to all policies listed below.
General Information
Performance Machine & Design specializes in high-performance and racing parts. Many products are built, machined, modified, or assembled to order. Due to the nature of performance parts and custom machining work, lead times and product availability may vary.
The best way to contact us is by email or through our Facebook page. Our team spends most of the day machining parts, assembling orders, and operating equipment, so phone support is limited.
Right to Refuse Service
Performance Machine & Design reserves the right to refuse service, cancel orders, issue refunds, or deny future purchases at our discretion.
Orders may be canceled and refunded if customers are repeatedly rude, abusive, threatening, fraudulent, unprofessional, or otherwise difficult to work with.
Orders placed by customers previously refused service may be canceled and refunded without notice.
Order Inspection Policy
Customers are responsible for inspecting all orders immediately upon delivery.
All claims regarding:
Missing items
Incorrect items
Shipping damage
Manufacturer defects
Fitment concerns
must be reported within 14 days of delivery.
Claims made after 14 days from delivery will not be accepted.
Customers are responsible for verifying all part numbers, measurements, and fitment before installation.
Installed Parts Policy
Parts that have been:
Installed
Used
Modified
Damaged during installation
Opened electrical components
cannot be returned or exchanged.
Customers must verify compatibility and correctness before installation.
Returns & Restocking Fees
Approved returns are subject to inspection upon arrival.
Returns must:
Be approved before being sent back
Be in new, unused condition
Include original packaging
Be complete and unmodified
Approved returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee.
Items returned damaged, incomplete, modified, or in poor condition may be subject to additional fees or refusal.
Shipping charges are non-refundable.
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the error was made by Performance Machine & Design.
Electrical Parts Policy
Electrical components are generally non-returnable.
Exceptions may be made at our discretion, but any approved return may still be subject to restocking fees.
Shipping Policy
Orders are processed in the order they are received.
Many items are:
Built to order
Machined to order
Custom assembled
Dependent on outside vendors
Estimated ship dates are not guaranteed.
Once an order leaves our facility, shipping and delivery are handled by the carrier.
Performance Machine & Design is not responsible for:
Shipping delays
Lost packages
Stolen packages
Misdelivered packages
Carrier scanning issues
Customers should contact the shipping carrier directly regarding delivery issues.
Shipping Address Policy
Orders are shipped to the shipping address entered at checkout.
Customers are responsible for ensuring their shipping and billing information is correct before placing the order.
Performance Machine & Design is not responsible for orders shipped to incorrectly entered addresses.
Address changes cannot always be guaranteed once an order has been processed.
International Shipping & Freight Forwarders
Customers using third-party freight forwarding services assume all responsibility once the order is delivered to the forwarding address.
Performance Machine & Design is not responsible for:
Customs issues
International forwarding delays
Additional taxes or duties
Lost shipments after delivery to forwarding services
Customers are responsible for supplying any required international shipping labels or customs paperwork when applicable.
Backorders & Out-of-Stock Items
Some products may become backordered due to machining schedules, vendor delays, or material shortages.
If an item is out of stock and no estimated restock date is available, Performance Machine & Design reserves the right to cancel and refund the order.
Estimated arrival dates provided by vendors are subject to change.
Core Swap Policy
Core swap items require customers to send in usable cores before work can be completed.
Turnaround time begins once the cores are received and inspected.

Customers are responsible for verifying compatibility of all parts with their specific engine, chassis, clutch, drivetrain, or application.
Performance Machine & Design cannot guarantee compatibility with modified, custom, or non-standard setups.
Technical Support Policy
Due to shop workload, we are unable to provide extensive technical consultation, custom build planning, or troubleshooting support.
Customers should research and verify their own setups before purchasing.
Product Specifications & Measurements
All available specifications are listed on the product page.
Due to production workload, we may not be able to provide additional measurements, dimensions, or custom fitment verification.
Manufacturing Variations
Due to the nature of machined and performance parts, minor cosmetic imperfections, machining marks, or finish variations may be present and do not affect functionality.
Order Cancellations
Orders may only be canceled before processing or production begins.
Custom machined or built-to-order items may not be canceled once work has started.
Approved cancellations may be subject to processing or restocking fees.
Refund Processing
Refunds are issued back to the original payment method.
Depending on the payment provider or bank, refunds may take several business days to appear.
Failed payment attempts or duplicate payment attempts may appear as pending charges temporarily. These authorizations are controlled by the bank or payment provider and typically fall off automatically.
Local Pickup
Performance Machine & Design does not operate a public storefront or showroom.
Customers may arrange local pickup for pre-ordered parts when available.
